I’m kind of worried to speak badly of this book due to its audience and me not having any personal experience of the topic, but I found her a little bit annoying. I have to say I cannot relate to this at all, so I don’t know how realistic and relatable it actually is, but the phrase ‘I had to cut I just had to’ got a little repetitive. But the truth about Kendra’s abuse is just waiting to explode, with startling unforeseen consequences. Scars is the unforgettable story of one girl’s frightening path to the truth.
